Playful, naturally dyed eight-strand royal blue and white handmade paper necklace features an array of round shapes knotted and clustered together with a decorative blue bead closure.
The lovely necklace design was inspired by the monochrome drawing technique in black ink from the Chinese School of Painting, which later was introduced to Japan by Zen Buddhist monks. The necklace is made from special papers, silk and cotton fibers, which are treated in order to make them resistant to damage and ideal for daily wear.
