This breathtaking kimono-inspired tunic features Japanese artist Hokusai's famous woodblock print, The Wave, representing the perpetual changes in life. Hokusai cleverly played with perspective to make Japan’s grandest mountain, which represents the stable and enduring conditions of life, appear as a small triangular mound within the hollow of the cresting wave for dramatic effect. It is beautifully styled with an elegant boatneck, drop shoulders, three-quarter-length sleeves, and side vents lending an easy, relaxed drape. The central imagine is 100% rayon chirimen crepe which is a woven crepe made of a high twist rayon yarn that offers luster and a soft crinkle surface texture while the surrounding fabric is 100% 4-ply silk, a high quality heavy silk that creates a soft, rich drape.
