Bounkhong Signavong

Bounkhong (Tong) Signavong creates remarkable one-of-a-kind kimono-style jackets and vests, all hand-made from naturally-dyed silk and cotton and hand-woven on a traditional Lao loom.  These works of art showcase his hand-stitched embroidery which embellishes further his unique patchwork designs.  The motifs woven and stamped onto his textiles are influenced by the spiritual power of Buddhism aiming at a peaceful and meditative symmetry and color flow.
