Judith Bird

Judith, one of three founders of the Port Townsend Wearable Arts Show, is a multi-faceted fiber artist. Her current offerings include woven shibori-dyed garments and scarves, silk-pieced scarves, and most notably, her SHAPES line of pieced wool jackets and vests that are true statement pieces. 

Judith completed graduate courses in fiber sculpture from the Maryland Institute College of Art, as well as numerous studies in drawing, weaving and dyeing, including Shibori dyeing with Master Yoshiko Wada of Japan.  She lives in Port Townsend, Washington.q
