Red Thread Sweaters

The name Red Thread stems from Chinese folklore that says everyone who is destined to meet is connected by an invisible red thread.  In Red Thread tradition, designer Sue Peterson incorporates her trademark red thread in each of her sweaters.  She combines beautiful color and gorgeous prints in easy, flattering, and comfortable shapes. All the trims are hand crocheted, and great effort is given to hand-selecting each button, trim color, and even thread color. Each piece is knit on a loom and sewn by hand.

Sue majored in textiles and clothing at Iowa State University, with an emphasis on design. She lives in Toronto, Canada.
