Tatiana Palnitska
According to Tatiana, each piece is an “edition 1 of 1,” never repeated. Growing up in the Soviet Union, Tatiana had a problem wearing mass-produced items so she painted her boots, tore up a curtain for fabric, and used dried items she found in the forest for adornments.
In the 1990s, she moved to the visual arts, photography in particular. But after rediscovering fiber arts, she settled on exploring the limitless growth, experimentation, and expansion that fiber offers. Each of her pieces is created by hand, with emphasis on texture, lines, fluidity, and overall expression.
Tatiana lives in Florida.
