Made of finely woven Tussar silk, this shawl, which can also be worn as a scarf, features geometric hand dyed shibori designs in shades of black and beige, with red and gold contrasting silk bands on each end. The silk, which is valued for its rich texture and lustrous sheen, is made from silkworms that live wild in the forest and feed on native plants and trees. It is created by weavers and textile artists at the Weavers Studio, which Darshan Shah founded in 1993 in Kolkata, India. 100% tussar silk. Dry clean.
