Crafted of finely woven tussar silk, this stunning vest showcases hand dyed geometric designs in black on a ground of muted sage, ecru, and brown. The front features a diagonal panel of brown silk overstitched with many rows of contrasting hand embroidery. Tussar silk, which is valued for its rich texture and lustrous sheen, is made from silkworms that live wild in the forest and feed on native plants and trees. It is created by weavers and textile artists at the Weavers Studio, which Darshan Shah founded in 1993 in Kolkata, India. 100% tussar silk. Dry clean.
